About Us
Support isn’t just what we do. It’s who we are.
When we started Specialist Behaviour, we had one simple goal: to strengthen the field of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) by empowering support professionals with the knowledge and strategies needed to make a real difference.
Our journey began as a small team of dedicated behaviour support specialists and clinicians with big plans to become a leading provider of PBS services and training that enhances evidence-based practices.
We do this by fostering a community that shares experiences – a community that learns and grows through compassion and curiosity.
Whether you’re just taking your first steps as a behaviour support practitioner, building on your experience, or looking to share your expertise, you’re a welcome part of our support community.

Empowering support professionals and the people they care for
Fostering a community of shared knowledge and expertise
Advocating for person-centred, trauma-informed care
Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment

Join Our Team
At Specialist Behaviour, we’re committed to thoughtful, ethical, and evidence-informed positive behaviour support.
Our approach is shaped by rights-based, trauma-informed practice. We take the time to understand what’s happening in context, and we work alongside families, schools and services to develop supports that are practical, respectful, and sustainable.
We’re a small specialist team, and we value depth of experience, professional integrity, and practitioners who are comfortable working independently while staying connected to others who take their work seriously with a supportive network
If this sounds like how you practise, we’d welcome a conversation.
