Yes. As a BCBA Authorised Continuing Education provider, our courses are built for those seeking BCBA certification. This means you will earn CEU points when you take specific courses.

While BCBAs and ABA therapists both work within the framework of Applied Behaviour Analysis, BCBAs are often involved at a supervisory level, designing intervention plans and overseeing treatment programs. ABA therapists work directly with clients using plans created by BCBAs.

BCBA supervision hours are the hours you spend doing supervised fieldwork. You need to accrue 1,500 supervised hours before registering for the BCBA exam.

The difference between supervised and concentrated supervised fieldwork is the number of experience hours you need to complete and the percentage of supervision you receive each month.

Supervised fieldwork requires you to complete 2,000 experience hours and be supervised for a minimum of five percent of those hours each month. Concentrated supervised fieldwork requires you to complete 1,500 experience hours and be supervised for a minimum of 10 percent of those hours each month.

It typically takes around two years to accrue 2,000 hours of BCBA supervision. Of course, this will depend on your workload and your supervisor.
