This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to develop and implement effective behaviour support plans grounded in evidence-informed practices. This deep-dive, broken up into seven individual lessons, provides instruction, resources, and examples on  guiding principles and key considerations for choosing and implementing effective behaviour support strategies.

 

Learners will explore the rationale behind using assessment-driven approaches to select behaviour change strategies that align with individual needs and functions of behaviour. The course emphasises the application of guiding principles to assess, design, and apply quality of life and rights-centred behaviour support strategies.
